Station III: Obake-Ya

Been heard a lot about this restaurant, a JAILED concept restaurant where all the interior design was based on the JAILED concept. People tends to feels like in jail once they comes into the restaurant, they have different crime for every lock-up space.

and what we did is TRADING POPULATION CRIMES, here is the table for SIX of us...

The design was nice, layout atmosphere was great, the thing is the food will not attract us for second visits.

The Beef Garlic Rice, only the rice is nice, beef is over cooked, tea doesn't taste like green tea and the biscuit was too soft to be chew, the whole thing is under quality except the garlic rice as for me, it is still acceptable...

So called Japanese Curry Mashed Potatoes, goodness, that was so weird as it appeared in tempura style where the taste was totally unmatched. The curry sauce inside was slight spicy and lack of sweetness, unlike the usual Japanese Curry that we used to have, where the sauce on top is somehow like Terriyaki sauce that taste salty and sweet, when all the tastes comes in one shot, it somehow mess us up.

For those who loves chicken skin, I strongly discourage you, do not order these 2 dishes, Grill Chicken Skin and Fried Chicken Skin, the grill chicken skin, totally tasteless, where the taste is somehow like burnt, it is chewy, but doesn't feel nice at all... Deep Fried Chicken Skin, is full of OIL... compared to those hawker's, this is just a failure, the hawkers' chicken skin is much more tasty and OIL-LESS... it would be more price worthy...

It is worth to visit at least once for the atmosphere and layout, you may just order some snack or drinks but not something that suppose to make you full. After all, you will definitely tell yourself, "No Next Time" for this restaurant, enjoy!
